We hope to enable the research, development and presentation of work inspired by our unique location. Work that further examines themes of ritual, magic and folklore, the local history and pre-history, the distinctive geography of the region and environmental awareness. The gallery is very fortunate to be partnered with Haarlem Studios, a vibrant community, where creative practitioners and artists can share ideas, practice or opportunities. We hope that our programme will continue to support regional creatives and provide pathways to new opportunities. We run a regular series of micro-residencies, and will continue to build new networks with artists, galleries and institutions both nationally and internationally with a view to encouraging the cross-pollination of ideas and the sharing of resources.
