After graduating from the Royal College of Art with a Masters in Textiles and Design, Lucy set up her studio in the beautiful county of Derbyshire, where she designs, makes, takes commissions and hosts a range of creative workshops and retreats to inspire and bring colour into people’s lives!

The studio is based at Lucy’s beautifully renovated home (1763 small holding) overlooking fields and the colourful country garden.

With 16 years experience in the design field, Lucy offers colour confidence retreats and consultancy, Upholstery and Upcycling workshops, Interior Design courses and 1-2-1 design coaching and consultancy, inspiring clients to realize their own ideas and potential.

With a passion for the outdoors, conservation and simple living, Lucy has a holistic approach to her design work, with a strong emphasis on reclaiming materials and colour on many levels, including essential oils, herbs, working with nature, all combined with her love of fabric and interiors

Over the years Lucy has worked on commissions for Liberty London, Colin Firth’s Eco Age, Kew Gardens, exhibited at various International trade shows- ICFF New York, Masion et Objet, Paris and London Design week, and a commissioned, published book of her design concepts- Mixed Media and found materials (AC Black) She also currently teaches Interior Design at Nottingham Trent University.
