Tricia trained as a dancer and choreographer in London and Amsterdam in the 1970s. Now, forty years later, she writes fiction and memoir and teaches movement and dance. The two art forms co-exist perfectly, engaging the mind, body, spirit and intellect.
In 2013 Tricia graduated from Sheffield Hallam with an MA Distinction in Writing. Her novel, The Green Table, is about the German Occupation of the Netherlands, and the brave attempt of its main characters to keep dancing despite Nazi oppression. It was published by Cinnamon Press in 2015. Tricia is now working on her second novel which will be published in 2021 - an exploration of the legacy of WW2, and the guilt experienced by the son of a member of the Nazi Party. The research is far-reaching. But imagination and trust are also required.
She is also writing a memoir about her parents, their life and death, saying goodbye to a family home of 60 years, and learning aerial circus skill - a great antidote to grief.
